The birth of Bapuji Educational Association in 1958 was a milestone in the history of Davangere. Bapuji Educational Association was established by a group of Philanthropic personalities of Davangere whose main concern was the upliftment of education in and around Davangere. KVG Medical College and Hospital is a private institution imparting medical education in the state of Karnataka. The institute was established in the year 2002 under the guidance of Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, Founder President of Academy Of Liberal Education (R), Sullia, Dakshina Kannada.

The library has a spacious reading hall with separate reading areas for undergraduates and postgraduates. It has a seating capacity of about 200 people and is well illuminated with natural light. The library is under electronic surveillance to ensure that no reading material is taken outside of the building.

The hostels provide a decent and hygienic salubrious ambience and a feel-good climate, and are equipped with all amenities for living, dining and recreation that makes each inmate feel at home. They provide a right atmosphere for intellectual stimulation and balanced growth. There are 5 boy’s hostel and 4 girl’s hostels in the medical campus, apart from one boys hostel and one girl’s hostel in the engineering college campus, providing accommodation to over 4000 students with in the campus.
Water facility is available round-the-clock in all buildings, including hostels. Treated water is available for drinking purposes and sufficient numbers of water coolers are provided in all buildings. Rain water harvesting has been done for the entire campus. Effluent treatment plant has also been commissioned at NET to treat the waste water and the recycled water is being used for gardening purposes.

The Institutions have 03 omnibuses,01 Dental Mobile bus,01 Community Medicine van and 01 Car for the transport of faculty.
Qualified and experienced security personnels are employed by the Management for the safety and security of all the institutions, Hospitals and Hostels. The most of these personnels are Ex-Servicemen.
