To get MBBS From Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Science provides undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various streams with highly qualified faculties.  MBBS From Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Science offers a program having a duration of 4.5 years along with 1 year internship. After passing the final MBBS examination students must have temporary registration from Tamil Nadu Medical Council and full registration after completing one year internship. The college has modern academic facilities including well lit, spacious airconditioned class rooms, modern seating system and state of the art audiovisual aids. To enhance the learning process, classrooms have projection software to visualize and understand the complex processes in medicine. College auditoriums  equipped with modern audiovisual aids to conduct seminars , conferences , Laboratories are well equipped for teaching practical aspects of subjects. Departments have museums pertaining to respective subjects which are curated and catalogued so that students can utilize them for self-directed learning. The college has its own teaching hospital with adequate infrastructure, clinical material and staff. Students are also exposed to primary and secondary healthcare through outreach facilities. The examination hall is very spacious, adequately equipped and secured for conducting University examinations. It has inbuilt secretarial services.

  • Library

The 2000 Sq. ft. library is designed with plenty of natural light with an ambiance to support peaceful individual as well as group study, and recreational reading. It is fully automated with a book bank, question bank, online journals, and a photocopier. Numerous educational videos describing surgical procedures, clinical situations, case studies, etc are recorded and available as audio / video tapes, and compact disks.

The library is open all 7 days a week from 8.00 am to 8.30 pm.  

  • The Little Shop

The reasonably priced Little Shop at the entrance of the campus was primarily started to make course books available for the students.  But now it also sells stationery like manuals, paper, files, pencils, pens, etc for students’ daily academic needs.  Understanding students’ needs, the shop also stocks personal hygiene products, domestic supplies, juices and light snacks, as well as gift articles.

  • Hostel

There are 6 hostels on campus 3 separate for female UG students, CRRI and postgraduates.  Similarly, there are 3 hostels for male students, all under the care of a warden and individual caretaker for each hostel building.  There are a total of 676 rooms for UGs, 93 rooms for PGs and 106 rooms for interns. The rooms are single occupancy with toilet/ bath attached, and is provided with a cot, cupboard, table and chair.  A separate buffet mess, with a fully automated hygienic kitchen is available for the hostel students, along with continuous water supply with a reverse osmosis water treatment plant, 24 hour electricity supply with generator back-up, separate television viewing hall, and reading room with all leading newspapers and periodicals. Telephone booth, indoor games hall, well-equipped gymnasium, sprawling playgrounds are additional comfort features. 

  • Bank And ATM

A City Union Bank facility is present on campus with an ATM for students and faculty and facilitates easy access to money and quick bank transactions.

  • Auditorium

The air-conditioned auditorium is 60,000 sft in size, with a large stage, and a 2500 seating capacity.  This is common to all the colleges in the campus and cultural events, annual days, meetings, CMEs, conferences and inter-college events are held here.

  • Cafeteria

A large canteen for staff and students, that can seat 500 people at a time is available on campus open from 8 am to 8 pm.  The canteen is a welcome break for the students and a common social meeting place.  It serves Indian and Chinese cuisine; both veg and non veg.  It is open 24 hours during examinations to support students burning the midnight oil.

  • Gym

There is a spacious gymnasium with a well experienced health instructor.

  • Sports

Students don’t just excel in the classrooms but in the sports field too.
