Navodaya Medical College and the attached Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre are duly recognized by the Medical Council of India and are affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka
Established by S. R. Reddy in 2001, NMC was the first private sector medical college in Raichur. The college started with only the Navodaya Hospital & diagnostic centre in 1996 and later in 2001 with the setting up of Navodaya Medical College (NMC), it became a full-fledged independent Medical college in Raichur.
Navodaya medical college is located at Navodaya Nagar, Mantralayam Road, Raichur-584103.

To get MBBS From Vydehi Institute Of Medical Science And Research Centre provides undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various streams with highly qualified faculties. Vydehi Institute Of Medical Science And Research Centre offers a MBBS program having a duration of 4.5 years along with 1 year internship. After passing the final MBBS examination students must have temporary registration from Karnataka Medical Council and full registration after completing one year internship. The total intake for the programme is 250 seats. The eligibility criteria for securing a seat for the MBBS course are:
Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore with a 50% aggregate in Biology, Physics and Chemistry with English as a compulsory language.  Facilities Provided
Vydehi Institute Of Medical Science And Research Cenre provides hostel for girls and boys. Students can avail the facilities of Wi-Fi networks, sports facilities, etc. Some other facilities are a gymnasium, auditorium, library, cafeteria, transport facilities, parking facilities, Bank & ATM facility, and many more.
- Library
The VIMS & RC Health Sciences Library is Spread Over 4,000 sq mts and can Accommodate 750 Students at a Time. Â It Provides Access to a Range of Databases on the Campus Network, E-Resources, and OPAC-Related Access to its Vast Collection. It has a Separate Audio-Visual Room, Computer Lab, Group Study Area and Private Study Area.
The VIMS & RC Central Library was Established in 2000 when the College Started Functioning. Year After Year it has Made Steady Progress and has Grown into a Collection of Medical Books, Â Journals Back Issues and Bound Volumes with Subscription of Indian and International Journals Yearly on Various Medical Subjects. Both the Central Library and the Department Libraries Have in Addition a Digital Library with Internet Facilities. Central Library is Fully Air Conditioned and Under CCTV Surveillance. The Library is Opening from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm on all Workings Days.
- Hostel
There are two separate hostels at present, one for the boys and another for the girls. The boys and girls hostels are located in the Institute campus and can accommodate about 200 students each. Student Welfare Officers and Wardens are always available to students and interns to lend a patient ear to all their problems related to curricular activities and to provide suitable remedies.
- Transportation
There are buses including one mini bus and vans available for Transportation of students to and from Banashankari campus to the Hospital premises and to transport them to various training centres.
- Cafeteria
The Hospital Canteen Sri Nidhi Sagar caters to the need of Faculty, Students and staff at Hospital. A new canteen with modern amenities is open at the college campus.
- Auditorium
There is a Auditorium in the campus equipped with the slide and multimedia projectors.
- Sports/Gym
The college has a fully equipped health club with a 10 Station Multi-Gym, two TreadMills and Steppers and a Trained Instructor. The Health Club is open to all students of KIMS from 6:00AM to 8:00PM. Indoor Games like Chess, Carrom and Table tennis are also available. The New Sports Complex coming up will house two Synthetic Tennis Courts, Basketball and Volleyball Courts and an Amphitheatre.
